You may be asking, "What's a Jetsons intro doing here? It's a classic!". Well, to tell you, all I have heard in the present is the 1980's version where the whole theme is redone, I'm not sure, but I think a lot of 1960's episodes have the 1980's version that plastered this version. So if you've mostly heard the 1980's version recently, here is the 1962 intro in glorious B&W plus a sponsor tag for Peter Pan peanut butter (sorry if it doesn't feature George Jetson.):

Got Halloween Safety?
To stop off topic posts in the Classic Paramount Cartoons blog- I have decided to put in a new blog devoted to my random researches. Happy launch!
Anyways, here's something hilarious.
If you remember the original Got Milk? commercials describing the "agony of running out of milk" (think Aaron Burr), the same milk board used something really to commercialize the advertising message. Besides the milk mustache ads, gotmilk.com has used "Halloween Safety" on the Halloween health page. It has nothing to do with calcium, milk, or milk deprivation and that is mostly the only thing used throughout the entire Got Milk? campaign, both California and national.
According to an AOL poll, "Got Milk?" as favorite slogan got dead last with votes. Is this a sign that it's going downhill? Can "Toma Leche" take over the milk board and get national?
I've may have posted these on my sister blog, but here's a piece of the good ol' days when the Got Milk?/Got Milk? knockoff fad started.
